I had a family emergency and had to drop my dog at daycare from Sunday September 8th in the AM to Wednesday 11th in the PM. I didn't notice when I picked her up as I was exhausted, and only noticed some low energy thinking she probably played a lot. At home is when I saw her right lip swollen and at closer inspection all the scratches around her nose. Her tail was also RAW and bleeding. The team here is amazing and super personal! My kid's daycare doesn't send me as many pictures as these guys do. They're meticulous about vaccination records/upkeep- which means my dog is safe, and so is everyone else's. Every stay we get feedback about our pupper's new friends. He comes home tired and happy. It's great to have a place for our "crated when nobody is home" dog to be a dog when we are gone for extended periods.
It took me a couple days to calm down. We secured a spot for our two dogs for the July 4 event that you advertised. I was told there would be plenty of outdoor play and treats. We arrived at 7:30 am. Then realized the doors were locked. We called. Checked our voice mail checked your website. Nothing. Our dogs were getting anxious. We had a Nationals game at 11am. So time was tight. Needless to say we drove back home. I stayed behind to watch the dogs. We are so disappointed and will no longer need nor want your services.
I am deeply disappointed with my recent experience at Dogtopia of Manassas. I brought my healthy dog in for daycare, expecting him to be well-cared for. However, when I picked him up, I was shocked to find him unable to walk properly and covered in scratches. It's evident that my dog did not receive the proper care and supervision he needed during his stay. As a result, he has sustained injuries that were completely avoidable and unacceptable.
