I'm genuinely sad that I have to leave this review. This location has been a thorough disappointment. I recently moved to Manassas and was happy that I could stay with Dogtopia. I went to Dogtopia of Cary, NC for about 6 months and the coaches, management, owners and groomer were all fantastic. They were involved, communicated to me when my puppy had some issues, there was always someone at the front desk, the owners were at the location and interacting with their clients at least once a week. I started the boarding and day care in July. They moved my 29lb doodle into the big dogs room because another dog wasn't getting along with my dog. No problem there, my dog got along with all the dogs in the big dog room and small dog room (except the one I was told about). I had to stop taking my dog to the daycare, because it was too far of a drive. I called and canceled the day care and was told (when I signed up) that I would be charged for 4 wks after. I had a family emergency and had to drop my dog at daycare from Sunday September 8th in the AM to Wednesday 11th in the PM. I didn't notice when I picked her up as I was exhausted, and only noticed some low energy thinking she probably played a lot. At home is when I saw her right lip swollen and at closer inspection all the scratches around her nose. Her tail was also RAW and bleeding. I am deeply disappointed with my recent experience at Dogtopia of Manassas. I brought my healthy dog in for daycare, expecting him to be well-cared for. However, when I picked him up, I was shocked to find him unable to walk properly and covered in scratches. It's evident that my dog did not receive the proper care and supervision he needed during his stay. As a result, he has sustained injuries that were completely avoidable and unacceptable. The team here is amazing and super personal! My kid's daycare doesn't send me as many pictures as these guys do. They're meticulous about vaccination records/upkeep- which means my dog is safe, and so is everyone else's. Every stay we get feedback about our pupper's new friends. He comes home tired and happy. It's great to have a place for our "crated when nobody is home" dog to be a dog when we are gone for extended periods.
