LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THIS PLACE! I am one of those people that is very skeptical of boarding or having another person watch my animals. Because of this fear, I lost out on some pretty good trips. MY FRIENDS DOG DIED HERE My friends English bulldog was left out in the heat and neglected. They saw that he was having trouble breathing and that his toungue was turning purple and they did not call an emergency vet. They called my friend and casually stated that she need to come pick up Remington as he was having breathing trouble. Our healthy English Bulldog, Remington DIED on 5/31/18 due to neglect, being left outside too long at this facility. NO emergency call to a vet or emergency pet services once they noticed his tongue & mouth had already turned purple. They called us to say he was having breathing problems but did NOT disclose he was already suffocating. I asked if a vet needed to be called and they said we needed to decide that once we got there. incompetent My friends dog Remington was just left to dye. They did nothing if they would have taken him to a vet or animal hospital he might have had a chance. but to say "he wouldn't have made it". How do they know. Obviously they have no way to get medical attention to your dog if needed. That is a lawsuit. They should be reported

Best place in town Dog World Sarasota is the absolute best! Let me start with saying that the place is so CLEAN! I doesn't smell like every other kennel or daycare I have been in and I have been in quite a few all over the US. They are more than happy to show you around (others aren't so much), you can tell the staff really takes pride in what they do. BEST OF THE BEST We feel so blessed to have found Dog World. We have been going there for almost a year now. We still remember our dogs first day of daycare. We thought it was special they stayed with him and kept us updated throughout the day. It is a place our dog can go for socialization, training, and to burn some extra puppy energy. They respect behaviors we are trying to work on at home with our dog (like jumping up on people/or waiting) and work on them too. Just noticed Dog World of Sarasota is offering a 10% discount to anyone who gives them a good review. Unbelievable that they need to pay for a good review.Think twice about putting up a review for a discount because if something happens to you beloved dog while in there care they will not take any responsibility and now they will show you the good review you gave them. This place has a lot of NEGATIVE reviews. My dog is worth a lot more then a 10% discount. # TRUTH

Warning: Please DO NOT board your dog at DOG WORLD. My 4 year old Boston terrier spent 8 nights there over the Christmas Holiday. When I picked-up my dog I was never told that he had been sick with diarrhea during his stay. Although I filled out all the paperwork giving permission to take my dog to a vet if he were to become sick, he was never taken to a vet.
