Just noticed Dog World of Sarasota is offering a 10% discount to anyone who gives them a good review. Unbelievable that they need to pay for a good review.Think twice about putting up a review for a discount because if something happens to you beloved dog while in there care they will not take any responsibility and now they will show you the good review you gave them. This place has a lot of NEGATIVE reviews. My dog is worth a lot more then a 10% discount. # TRUTH
Warning: Please DO NOT board your dog at DOG WORLD. My 4 year old Boston terrier spent 8 nights there over the Christmas Holiday. When I picked-up my dog I was never told that he had been sick with diarrhea during his stay. Although I filled out all the paperwork giving permission to take my dog to a vet if he were to become sick, he was never taken to a vet. I have been using Dog World for both daycare and boarding for the past year and a half. My dog loves it there and runs right in the front door whenever we go. She comes home healthy, happy and exhausted from playtime,
WARNING:Do not let Dog world care for you animals they will neglect your dog...they neglected my dog to the point that the dog was only Pooping BLOOD,Vomiting blood, severely dehydratedand a very bad rash all along his scrotum and back area due to excessive diarrhea while boarding him at dog world! I have been taking my dogs Chester and Charlie to dog world for 2 years and have always loved the facility and staff, they are always very caring and go out of their way to make sure the dogs have a great time while they are there. Kim always sends me pictures of my dogs playing. I love Dog World.
I have been training with my dog Buster at Dog World for 2 months now. Diane and David are so great. Their knowledge and patience is amazing I never could have achieved my training goals without their help. I would not consider any place else in Sarasota.......I had just moved to the area and my dog loves going to DOG WORLD so much he starts getting excited as so as we turn into the street leading to Dog World.....Thanks so much for your help. The staff at Dog World rocks!!
I visited 4 kennels in Sarasota before deciding to leave my dog at Dog World for Christmas. It was the best place I visited I left my dog there for 18 days while I was away. The owners and staff made me feel so welcome and I felt so comfortable with the whole experience. Everyone there was so nice. I have read other reviews and cannot disagree more with any negative review about this company. Best place in Sarasota hands down.

If you ever read any negative reviews about the training, boarding, or day care at this place, DON T BELIEVE THEM. Dog World Sarasota is amazing! When I saw the videos on their website, I couldn t believe it -- happy, playing dogs, some boarding, some there for the day, in pools, under trees, under the picnic table. I called with a simple request: I wanted someone to train my fearful aggressive mixed breed rescue dog to be happy playing with the other dogs and boarding there while I travel -- a tall order.
