Copying my review from College Park Apartments, this is the property manager. GAS POISONING. This building gave one woman gas poisoning and she almost died, my partner moved into the same unit after they left. It smelled strongly of gas but we had to fight SO HARD for the management to believe us, they were literally gaslighting her about the gas leak. Doerr Real Estate & Management has to be the worst Management company in the state. They have no clue how to deal with clients they represent. I have been trying to get a hold of the owner of my property because the owner of this company is rude and unprofessional, this company must have been the lowest Bidder or something. I'm a veteran of the U.S. Army and I appreciate professionalism and respect. I've lived in one of their properties for a little over a year now and I have nothing but the up most respect and admiration for Mrs. Doerr I've had disagreements as well as laughs with her, but at the end of the day I've always been treated fairly.
Unfortunately this was a disgruntle tenant who didn't get exactly what he wanted which ended up in having to seek legal process against him
My only complaint is that I paid a substantial amount of money in a "Special Assessment" fee that was to go towards new siding on our Condo building. That was three or four years ago and no new siding yet. BUT, that seems to have more to do with a few other owners in our complex being deadbeats and not paying their monthly dues so the funds had to be used for more urgent matters. i rented an apartment with this company and i paid for the apartment. the manager of this company did not give me a lease or a reciept and then after i moved my stuff in she changed the locks and kept my possesions. this is not the kind of businesses we need in the state of michigan.
VERY SNOTY girls work here.... I called as a potential renter and was told she obviously didnt need to give me the address because she currently had no openings there. Well I Obviously wouldnt want to live somewhere that treats their clients (or potential) clients that way. Not recommended !!!!
