Many years ago I was a patient of his. I’ve thought of him over the years but not fondly. Perhaps he developed a better bedside manner but to me he was downright dismissive and unsympathetic. No one visit, Dr. Doehring was my family doctor for 42 years. He took care of my 3 children as well as myself
Unlike one of the patients that commented about the response to phone messages, both personal and pharmaceutical have found just the opposite. My phone calls to the office have always been returned usually by Dr. Doehring's physicians assistant. I have been a patient of Dr. Doehring for well over 15yrs and have always received the finest care. I came to Dr. Doehring having the "White Gown Syndrome". Upon my first visit, Dr. Doehring ended that fear, being lighthearted yet professional.
Dr. Doehring takes the time to listen to you. And does not rush when he is examining you. You do not feel like a piece a meat to get you in and out so he can see the next patient. I would recommend him to everyone. He truly cares for his patients.
Does not return phone calls for appointments. Have been trying to get an appointment for several months - no response from Dr or nurse or anyone at the office. Does not return calls to Walgreen's regarding prescriptions. Does not followup on blood work he requests done. Need a different oxygen provider - no response to this request from the day I was placed on oxygen.
