Food is great, the service is ok. They don't have a menu up posted in the restaurant so if you're not familiar with their meals or prices its kind of off putting. You have to grab a to go menu or just see what they have and they really don't tell you what's available if not seen in the hot trays. This is for the Delaware location. The ones in downtown Baltimore is always on point.

I love this place! The food here is exceptionally tasty. I think they have the most decadent vegan lasagna and mac&cheez items I've ever had. The drummies and ribs are both excellent. I haven't even tried their variety of hot sandwiches yet, but they look amazing. Desserts are all excellent. Most of Dodah's menu is not health food, per se, although there are some whole food options, too. The servings are huge -- a 1-entree + 2-sides platter is enough for two meals for most people. I am so sorry to have to say this but I am deeply disappointed. I used to buy food from Dodah’s Baltimore location and even on one occasion ordered catering, so I was excited to learn of the location in Newark. The rice I had tonight tasted sour. It had gone bad. I could smell it as soon aa I opened the container. And the cabbage was also questionable. The drummies were fine and the cake was ok.

The food was horrible. The food, presented in a buffet style, was of poor quality. Upon arrival, the initially requested items were unavailable, got substitutions following a discussion with management. While the portion sizes were generous, the overall quality of the food was unacceptable. Therefore, I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone.
