Horrible !!! An opinionated condescending know it all with as much compassion as a brick. Spends little time with patients while name dropping who he knows in hospital management.
They take good care of me. They are kind, and they listen. Everything you tell them about your symptoms are carefully compared to known (or unknown) illnesses. Very friendly, and they are my friends as well.
The office help seems caring, kind and very helpful, however, once you step into the exam room and have been seen by the "doctor" that kindness and caring goes away. one doctor in particular has the ethics of an Enron Executive. patient/doctor confidence does not exist. As a patient for many years and other relatives who share the same feelings, you would be better off at Marquette General!!
Dr (not by a long shot) Helman profiles patients as malingers and pill seekers. this is her first impression of everyone because she provides a piece of paper you must sign to get prescriptions. included in this "agreement" is the right to randomly drug test you. Hmmmm who the hell takes an oath to keep a human comfortable but does not! don't waste your time with her if you are truly in pain. DEA must be counting her license or something. she belongs to Portage Health System ;-)
