I had a mixed experience at Doctors on Riccarton. The doctor was kind and professional, which is why I decided to enrol at the clinic. However, the administrative side was very disappointing. I waited over one hour to see the doctor after already speaking with a nurse. Dr Karen is knowledgeable and very patient towards to her patient, glad to have such a good doctor in our community.
Doctors are great but wild inconsistency between nurses for cost of materials. First time it was $15 for materials and got a heap of stuff to take away and well bandaged up. Went back for a would check and they had a student do it. No problem, they have to learn somehow. It was his first time doing a dressing change and a complete mess but using a fraction of the materials that had I done myself would have cost less than $5 and done a better job.
