I have been a patient of Dr. Tasha for two years. She is incredibly kind and professional. I always feel truly listened to and well cared for during my visits. I couldn't recommend her enough. The clinic is beautiful, modern and welcoming, staff is super friendly and helpful!
I have seen Dr Achala who is very compassionate and knowledgeable. She takes the time to listen and genuinely wants to provide good care for her patients. Overall the clinic is lovely and receptionists are friendly too.
Probably give Dr Tasha Patel a miss for gender affirming care. Partner and I have been on estradiol implants for who knows how long (10+ years?).. Basically when they were first available in Australia. We normally get implants every 9-12 months, with several doctors having done the procedure over the years while getting regular bloodwork done. We had to cancel our appointment after trying to get an implant after around 13-14 months because our levels were above 400 pmol (around 500ish) which seems like gatekeeping at best wi... read more
Despite the reasons you might visit a doctor I always enjoy my visits to Doctors of South Melbourne. The staff are always so warm and friendly and my doctor in particular is wonderful and caring.
