The only place for my family! I wouldn't take my family anywhere else! We have been very impressed by Dr. Mavani! She is great with my kids, and always kind, patient, and understanding with me as well. Both of my children have had some health concerns along the way, and Dr. Mavani has always accurately assessed the issue and took the time to answer all of my questions, relieve my concerns and develop a treatment plan. Dr. Mavani's officeis extremely dirty and unorganized I have bever been so displeased with an office! The office is extremely dirty and unorganized. The nurse administering my 11yr old's booster had to ask me what she should be getting. Then she said Dr. Mavani would check on her before giving her the booster...Dr. Mavani never did come in, nor did the nurse check my daughter's vaccination history/temperature. Unorganized or Under Staffed Both my wife and I love Dr. Mavani, She spends plenty of time with us and is a good pediatrician. However, the administrative/ billing staff is sub-par. To their credit, possibly they are under-staffed. It seems much unorganized, and billing issues drag on for months. I have to call and fax things in often so that I can pay my bill; its annoying.
Doctors For Kids is outstanding! Dr. Mavani is an amazing mix of head and heart. She is extremely knowledgeable and observant. She has a relationship with me and my son. She is gentle, kind, pleasant and very knowledgeable. She is not afraid to use traditional medicine and alternative medicine when it's appropriate. Dr. Mavani has never rushed me, she's taken my calls and addressed my concerns. Maybe I've waited occassionally to see the doctor, but in my opinion, to receive such unparalled care for my child is worth waiting.... read more
Not happy with Dr. Mavani We've been going to Dr. Mavani for over a year and are not happy with her service. We wait anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour after our scheduled appointment. Recently after being treated for bronchitis my daughter came down with strep. It took a week for the results to come back, and then when they finally did, Dr. Mavani read them incorrectly and told us that she didn't need any more antibiotics. I love Dr. Mavani!!! I can??t say enough good things about Dr. Ami Mavani. As a pediatrician Dr. Mavani effortlessly combines her intelligence and expertise with personality and compassion. Vey good! Dr Mavani is the doctor I have been searching for for the last 5 years! I wish I would have found her sooner. She isn't the type to medicate every little pain. She actually is very open to some not so traditional treatments. This was a big plus for our family.
