The staff is friendly and helpful and the dr is attentive and caring. We have used the dr center now for several years and all our experiences have been great.
My family has been seen by several physicians for over 3+ years at both the Beach and Dunn Ave Doctors Center locations, and we have always had a good experience. The friendly staff makes you feel comfortable, and the wait is less than at other doctors' offices I've been to. The doctor's thoroughly explain procedures so you feel at ease, and they take the time to explain the cause and solutions available. I read the review about the scheduling error. I am a physician and have had several of my patients ask me why they need to be seen when all they need is a refil on their medication. My answer is usually simple: I need to see if the medication and dosage is effective. For instance, a patient with Hypertension may need to increase their dosage if their blood pressure still isn't under control. Although it may seem like you doc just wants to make more money, they're probably more concerned with your health.
The customer service at this doctors office is horrible. I made an appointment two weeks ago to see DR. Edward Williams so that I could get my prescription refilled. I took time off of work and drove across town to make my appointment only to be told that DR. Williams was not there and is never in the Westside office on Fridays. I was told that lady that made the appointment was just filling in and made a mistake. I asked if they could just write a refill for my perscription and they refused.
