Listen I needed a tuneup, and a full diagnostic from my vehicle stalling and wouldn’t start and a diagnostic for failed smog test. This guy squared me away with what needed to be done. Also what needs to be done in order to pass the smog test . I will be back for what needs done. Mr. Romero is positive and knows cars very well.. keep in mind I have a 1994 Volvo 940.
I haven't lived in Cali in years, but I still think of Dr V fondly. I wish I could clone him and have the clone here - he's a nice/straightforward person, was always respectful to me, and went above and beyond. Worth spending your dollars here in my experience.
The service provided by Ramiro is exceptional, one of the few establishments that still conducts a brake and lamp (BAR) inspection for salvage vehicles in the Coachella Valley. After months of trying to resolve my issue with the Dmv and other reputable shops, I found Ramiro to be a trustworthy, genuine master mechanic. Ramiro charged me $390 for 1.5 hours of work even though he has a sign posted that labor is $130/hr. When I questioned it and told him I wanted to pay him less, he said he wouldn't work on my car anymore. He now doesn't work on Fridays because, as he whines, he makes too much money.
Dr V is a master of Volvo repair. I was on vacation, walked into his repair shop and he had me back on the road before the end of the day. Highly recommend this shop
