They really do have excellent fried shrimp! Very lightly battered and tender. Server was excellent and food came out pretty quickly. It wasn't peak restaurant time so we were seated immediately. We were there the last time in Gulf Shores and I am sure we will return.
Good food at a great price. The best seafood gumbo I've had that I didn't make.
It was so good! Great workers So very nice ! Oysters and Shrimp and Sea food platter yum yum
Their lunch specials every day of the week are a real bargain! They have the best fried shrimp around. Their side dishes are superb! Like home cooking! My favorite meal is Doc's world famous Spiderburger! Deep-fried soft shell crab Poboy. I highly recommend Doc's!

The fried oysters were SO under cooked like I dipped them in water YUCK, the sweet tea had soured, service was undesirable new employee in training we were told, kinda understandable, after we got our meals she was missing in action we had to go get some one a few times this should not be happening at any restaurant it was not a busy night, however we were seated quick cheese sticks were amazing ,gumbo very tasty we will not be eating at Doc's Seafood Shack next year...
Very disappointed. Was told about the all you can eat crab legs. They were awful. Very very small and over cooked. Shrimp and oysters and fish all tasted like it had been cooked and warmed up. Won't be going back. 117.00 for three adults and a 3yr old
The bartender, Amanda was awesome!!!! Long wait for food though.
Potatoes were cold, tea was soured , unrecognizable oysters, will not be back
Ate here for dinner on Aug 11th with family... I bit into ice found in the middle of the stuffed crabs. Now, just crossing my fingers I don't get sick from uncooked food during vacation. NOT RECOMMENDED.
