The oysters and gumbo were awesome! The view is great so I’d the service! Agree with the person who said the portions could be better! I bought a bowl of gumbo but was more of a cup.

We discovered Doc's a year ago after some serious restaurant recon on Yelp. And were glad as hell we did!!! A true local's only/hidden gem. Prices that beat ANYTHING in the hustle-bustle tourist area of Destin & good, simple food that's 2nd to none. If anyone is ever in Destin & wants to drive a little ways across the Bay for some terriffic food & a beautiful setting, Doc's is the spot you need to go!!!

Omg!!!! Headed to the airport on our way home we stopped at #docsoysterbar recommended to us by our new friends Travis & Katie...Best meal a foodie could ask for; Shrimp poboys, fried pickles, raw oysters, chicken wings, tuna dip, & the biggest shipwreck burger you could dream of � Do yourself a favor...pull up a chair on their deck over looking the water and enjoy a fantastic meal with an awesome view!!
Absolutely awesome food and atmosphere!! We had the boom boom shrimp tacos and the soft shell crab tacos. Both were delicious and also got the house oysters and I don’t eat oysters but those were the best I’ve ever had!!
