Busy, bustling and classy, Dock's Oyster Bar serves some of the freshest seafood in Midtown East. Everything here is urban, suave and very New York - the decor, the food and its presentation, the service and everything in between. My daughter took me here for my 65th birthday. The atmosphere and service were excellent; our waitress was very warm and helpful. She was very professional. Her knowledge of the menu items and her suggestions were above and beyond. I would definitely return.
The food was really good. The waiter was good but kind of slow. The only disappointing part of my meal was the creme brûlée. It was coconut and quite thick and not very tasty. It wasn't a deal breaker but I wouldn't have that again.
Worth the train ride from Stamford great food, staff and atmosphere..
Our waitress Bessa was the best - very hands on and a delight. Dinner was good but better during previous visits to Docks
