Went Saturday night and had forgot to make our Reservations that day but chanced it anyways. They was so kind to seat us exactly where we ask (inside with a view of the Lake). The food was wonderful and our Waitress was great. Thanks for the wonderful food, view and service.
Terrible place to eat. I orderd the shrimp dinner , It came with 8 small shrimp , Salad and fries. The fries came out cold , NOT EVEN NO HUSHPUPPIES and for the 18 dollar price damn sure is not worth it. Captain D's would have been 100 percent better and a lot cheaper. Now I see why we drive from Scottsboro to Top of the Rliver in Guntersville. It is a lot cheaper and get more good food for the money.

Has the docks restaurant never been busy?????, it was truly sad. Waited 10 mins behind another couple and no service at all. Then ppl with reservations jumped in front of us. So we left, never to return. They have great food but poorly manage there service.... soooo very sad

I’m sorry you had to wait for a table, we do take reservations and when a table comes in with a reservation we seat them first. Because we need to know what we have available for open seating. Linda was looking to see what we had available for you when she sat the reservation. With it being Memorial Day weekend and graduation we were full for reservations! Once again we are sorry about the wait, please come back and see us and ask for Linda or Derek and we will make sure you are well taken care of!
My husband and I got married outside behind the The Dock’s 3 Year’s ago and have made it our wedding anniversary tradition to eat here every year since. They have great food and friendly service! I love their grouper Po boy, shrimp and grits, steak, fried green tomatoes, and strawberry cake! Their seasoned veggies are also amazing !

The grouper special was fabulous. Perfectly cooked and served nice and hot. Fish tacos are excellent. The homemade dressings are phenomenal
