What a find The oysters are the specialty of the house - what a pleasant surprise to find this in downtown West Chester. Very lively atmosphere - great service and good food topped it off. Loved the old pictures on the walls - a great touch to a great place.
Doc Magrogan's Oyster House Doc's is a beautiful restaurant fashioned after an old Annapolis seafood restaurant. The menu has a wide variety of seafood choices at multiple price points. Everything we have had has been delicious. The service has always been excellent. We love any excuses to go there.
Doc Magrogan's Oyster House great nightlife. One thing i really like about docs is the layout of the building itself. The bar is right up front with all sorts of chaos, or head towards the back to find a table to hangout. There is an upstairs and a balcony with different scenes going on. The $5 fishbowls seems like a good deal, but im not sure how much liquor goes into them, plus all that sugar makes me sick.
Doc Magrogan's Oyster House is good! Doc's has a great nightlife seen with the irresistable 5 dollar fishbowls! Great place for the college crowd and young professionals, as well as the older folks as well. Great drink specials, live music, DJ's and a friendly staff! Would reccomend this place to others!
Great atmosphere and fantastic food! Rolls were so good and great quality oysters.
It's always hit or miss here anymore. A long time ago Docs was the it place. Great service, great food with huge portions and lots of selection, and an all around good time. Now they are always changing the menu with less selections, higher prices, and less food. the service is iffy- some servers are great some not so much. We used to go here for every birthday dinner and any other celebration dinner now we just go when there is a long wait elsewhere or nothing else to choose from.
