I called before going in to get pricing on a new tire and decided it was a fair price and close. When I got there I was given different pricing until I mentioned what I was quoted earlier in the day. The gentleman seemed irritated with me because I didn't want what he suggested. I waited in the waiting room for my tire to get replaced and the ceiling was leaking from the seam by the light fixture. I have taken my car there since I moved to the area though people have told me that Dobbs overcharges for everything. I didn't just believe what I was hearing. Yesterday the point was proven to me, unfortunately. I got a quote for replacing broken motor mounts. As I was driving home my neighbor stopped me to talk and I mentioned the quote of $1,000 to replace the 3 mounts. I have always liked going to Dobbs in Festus until today. I love how knowledgeable and caring they are UNTIL I met Scott. Most people see complete idiots when a female walks through the door of a parts / tire shop. That is exactly how I was treated and had a very arrogant attitude while he was belittling me. Everyone else is amazing but like they say 1 bad apple ruins the bunch. Not sure I will be returning.
I took my car in the other day to get my tire fixed under the warranty well service and every thing was good but the mechanics couldn't take my tire off because they didn't have a socket to take off my aftermarket lug nuts that are aluminum and in metric size asked me if I had mine what I guess they don't use metric sizes there now come on. Amazing business having worked for them and go there when I get lazy and don't wanna change my own oil they do a proficient job and do it all in efficient timing.
