This place is a total ripoff. I purchased a Honda accord from Dobbs about a year and a half ago. Franklin the shady afro american sold it to me. The second day it would not start, had to jump it take it back and get another battery. One month later it over heated. I called to use the so called free warranty. Was told the radiator was not covered. Fast forward one month ago April check engine light on car leaking. Took to shop for repairs. Mechanic found car totally rusted. This place sells nothing but junk cars. May work during the first week, if so. Long story short, I put 3000 down and agreed to 500 1 April. How about I purchased the vehicle 9 March and not even 2 weeks following the check engine light was on, the car was making really bad noise. I called over and over once I heard the noise in the beginning. Franklin, the tall, black male in the Fayetteville and Lumberton office is shady. When I got the car, I asked for the car fax. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM DOBBS MOTORS in lumberton or Fayetteville... Sold me a salvaged vehicle without informing me, and when i had problems with the car was told to "put wd-40 on it" transmission blew within five months... Now they are scamming me for insurance money saying i got into an accident and there is "front end damages"!!! If you or anyone you know if planning to buy a car this tax season STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOT. Please share so no one else falls victim of these crooks

AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGE!! I KNOW I USED TOO WORK THERE..THEY WILL DOUBLE CHARGE YOU ON DOC FEE.TAX AND TAGS AND MORE..THEY SELL SALVAGE AUTOS AND WILL NOT HONOR WARRANTYS..IF YOUR 10 DAYS LATE ON PAYMENTS THEY WILL TAKE YOUR CAR...DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND STAY AWAY....
Avoid Dobbs Motor, the Fayetteville location and the Lumberton. From the time I signed paperwork, the lady in the Fayetteville office, Ms. Rose, has given my husband and I nothing but problems. I was making extra payments, but was called by them and told I needed to make a payment at that time to avoid car being repossed when I was actually two payments ahead... nobody kept a record of my payments, but luckily I keep receits. All vehicles sold by Dobbs are either salvage or flood cars. All repairs are done with used parts and the majority of the cars they sell are actually two halves of two different cars welded together in their body shop. I am a former employee, I quit b/c I disagreed with their business practices and treatment of customers and employees. No promises or guarantees will be honored or remembered after the sale
