I moved often in the past and had many dentists. Dr. Doan is one of the most gentle and caring. She is honest, and does not push unnecessary dental fillings and crowns. She accepts state insurance even though they pay very little!! She accepts almost all insurances. It is easy to make an appointment with her. (ps. do not got to CaliDental in SLO. See my reviews there)
Great experience with Doan Family Dentistry! The office is small, peaceful and quiet, yet modern.. and all of the staff were lovely! I was taken straight to a room when I arrived, no wait. Dr. Emily did my cleaning herself and it was quick and painless. They were also very accommodating to my multiple reschedule requests- never moving my appointment out further than a couple of weeks! This is the first dentist I've really felt 100% positive about. I appreciated Dr. Evans explaining things as he was doing the exam. It's the first time I had a doctor do it to the extent he did. I personally like knowing the procedures. It is also the first time in years I had a doctor clean my teeth, rather than a dental assistant (mentioning assistant, Kyler RDA was great, he did my x-rays and polished of my teeth, with a awesome sense of humor).
