Was pretty good food. Pricey though
While Stubb's is a staple in Austin, there are just too many other amazing barbeque joints that have popped up in the last 5 years. Their brisket was dry, it needed a lot of sauce, and their potato salad lacked something. However their chicken was pretty good. I wish they did breakfast tacos. That would be clutch. Get the mean Mac. You won’t be disappointed.
In a town with so many options, this is merely edible barbecue. Asked for moist brisket, got lean. Chicken was borderline flavorless (no brine?). Turkey was at least not dry. If starving and on foot, this will sustain life. Otherwise, pass by.
Came in for a chop beef sandwich that I've been told multiple times about. My roommate and I get there and well, Joshua was awesome. They ran out of buns, so messing with Joshua, I said I was not getting the full experience. So he smiled, I'll make it the experience and TEXAS sized bread!!! Great place! Since I'm new to the neighborhood, definitely be coming here. Buh buy, Rudy's! 10:05 PM---I'm craving more!
