I went to the ER twice in one weekend because of the excruciating back pain I was in. Got an appointment quickly to see Dr V. (I had seen him for a previous issue with my neck/steroid injections) with paper work from the ER at the Wexford hospital saying I needed an MRI for a herniated disc. This doctor looked at me and said “the pain will go away, it’ll get better.” That was it, all his medical advice and he would do absolutely nothing for me, no MRI, nothing. Love ❤️ Dr. Vassiliev, Sue, and Crystal!! In the end, injections did not help. Ended up having lumbar fusion. If you're looking for a silly, haha-type doctor, then you should go elsewhere. However, if you're looking for a matter-of-fact kind of doctor, then he's your guy. I highly recommend.
I agree that when your in deep severe pain, having to wait 3 months for an appointment with the pain management crew is majorly frustrating. I disagree with Dr Dimitri's bed side manner being horrible. He was surprisingly pleasant, though I did think he may have been trying too but hard to make nice. I was also lucky the pain subsided with others assistance.
