First, the owner, Derek, did not pull a permit. He fought and was confrontational with the city planning inspector. He told the city planner that he didn't now what he was talking about. the inspector ordered him to tear the garage down and to basically start over. He started this process and ran out of money, left my job and did not complete it. He left the project without communication with me at all.
