I went to get labs done this morning (obviously). Little did I know I was about to experience a life changing event, a cannon moment if you will. The phlebotomist and her trainee were doing a fantastic job. I have small veins and I know that can be difficult. However, the trainee got it first try very gently. We arrived five minutes before closing at 4:55. We checked in on the ipad and it accepted our getting in the queue. No one was behind the desk . We apologized and asked if it was OK when the lady finally came to the waiting room after 5:00 pm. She proceeded to tell us they were closed, but she would let us come in. The tone made us feel unwelcome and a burden. We should’ve just left, and taken our business elsewhere.
