I know that the food is great but the seating space is not.
DK Diner is a FANTASTIC spot. It focuses on the two things that I love-awesome service and even better food. Start with one of their famous Bloody Mary's-it's topped with bacon wrapped tater-tots let me say that again Bacon Wrapped Tater Tots. I am breakfast traditionalist(eggs, bacon, toast and hash browns) and DK Diner knocked my socks off. It's a neighborhood joint that all the local love. Went with my nephew and sister. We split the breakfast burrito it was eggscellent!!! I had the "MESS" it was to die for if you like corned beef hash. My sister had the veggie omelet and really enjoyed it. My nephew had a simple eggs, bread, meat, potatoes and liked it. The atmosphere and the servers were fantastic! Very reasonable and get there early!!!
I was five the first time my grandpa took me here to get donuts. 30 years later and they are still making good donuts for my 4 year old to enjoy. Like everything else in Grandview it is a little pricey and a lot more hip than when I was a kid.
I had a vanilla long john...it was magical. I'll definitely be back!
