I hired x2 131db Speakers on stands, a mixer and x2 mics for my son’s 21st birthday and only for $140 on 3 days hire with $100 bond!!!! My DJ that I hired them for was very happy with them! Had everything he needed including the connection wiring for his dj controller/laptop…the sound was amazing especially the bass! The owner, Jamie, is the lovely man that helped me & recommended what’s best to get and helped with transporting to & from my vehicle. Hired a follow spot from DJ Direct for a mixed performance night. All was working as expected and they were also able to add an HDMI cord last minute to the hire as the one I had wasn't working. They're prices are truly unbeatable in Sydney and communication with Jamie to pick up and return gear to their hire storage location was really easy. They also give you a buffer day either side of your hire date which makes returning equipment much more stress free than having to worry about picking it up and returning it on the day ... read more
Never got back to me after giving me a quote, he was lovely over the phone though I have followed up acouple of times now and his just ignored me. If he didn't want the job he should have straight out said no instead of ignoring me after an initial phone call where we confirmed the hire.
I first came across DJ Direct on Saturday when I was trying to find a supplier of lighting for my son's 21st birthday party. The equipment I needed was readily available and I was able to pay and pickup with no fuss or hassle. The equipment was all in excellent working condition. I highly recommend DJ Direct!
We got the speaker and light package with an extra light and microphone for my daughter’s 21st and it was fantastic. The cost was amazing great value for your money and the equipment was amazing and extremely easy to use. Better than having the expense of a DJ and did just as good a job. The service was brilliant too very efficient, warm, friendly and helpful. It was also terrific that we had the extra time to pick up the equipment and take it back so there wasn’t added stress on the day of the party.
