I took my ******** in for a simple oil and spark plug change, but told them about a jerking problem it had when accelerating. They diagnosed the problem and fixed it very quickly. I was impressed by their friendliness and attention to detail. My car drives is a pleasure to drive now, thanks to them. I'll definitely be coming back!
After charging $140 just to tell me what was wrong with my heat on the driver's side in my vehicle, they told me it would be more than $400 more to fix the problem. And that's if it was exactly what he thought it was. If there were any other surprises, it may cost more. I took a car in because it lost some power when driving ( a borrowed car and I wasn't use to how it handled up hill driving), I took it in to DJ auto , they said the head gasket was blown and it was leaking oil etc and would cost $11,000 to fix. I had it towed and had another mechanic look at it. NOTHING WRONG WITH THE ****** all gaskets are fine, NO leaks. the problem was that going up a hill with a low tank of gas in a big engine caused a temporary air bubble that made it stall, but leveled out. I started taking vehicles to DJ Auto in 2021 when my Dodge Ram was having electrical issues no one else could figure out. He fixed it. And it worked for all of 2 days when it died again. Because we didnt know if it was the wiring harness or something else, they said they would cover the tow and it was back at their shop. They said it wasnt the wiring harness but something else and they didnt charge me for that repair. I thought, oh that was nice. Less than a week later the clutch went out. I had been going to DJ Auto for years. They always tried to up-sell, but Dave, the owner, seemed like he just wanted all the cars to have top quality stuff. Not a big deal, until he wanted to put in a "forever battery". I was skeptical, but he assured me that it wouldn't ever die, and if it did, he'd replace it for free. RecommendedI wish I had gone to DJ Auto sooner. They were super great to work with. They did a very thorough inspection when I took my car in for an alternator issue. I knew about some of the problems that they found but I did not mention them when taking the car in. I am impressed with their honesty and integrity. The shop was very clean and they let me use a loaner car that was clean and well maintained for free. I will for sure go back for routine maintenance and any other issues that my car may have.😄
I was in an accident that was not my fault and my car needed some repairs. Dealing with the insurances were such a pain in the butt, especially since the other driver's insurance was horrible at getting back. Throughout the whole process everyone at DJ Auto was so patient and so helpful as well. It was my first time dealing with a crash and they were really, really helpful. They even provided me with a rental and everything. I would definitely recommend this auto shop to anyone. They really care about their customers!!
