I took my 1-year-old son to this urgent care today, desperate for answers because he was clearly had a high fever and not himself. The provider completely missed that he had an ear infection — something that was later confirmed just hours later at Valley Children’s Hospital. Please dont advertise as an urgent care if you dont treat the facility as an urgent care. Multiple times I try to bring my kid and they say I need to make an appointment or the slots are full. Urgent care is supposed to be on a walk in basis. This place is more like primary care and should just be advertised that way.
They said as of today we don’t take medical patients! So I was like today after 5 or do u mean of yesterday was the last day made no sense!
I appreciate that they were able to see me same day but disappointed by the care I received. My son wasn't feeling well. He had a cough and a fever off and on. It started with being told we are going to do an RSV swab because your son has a history of it at VCH. My son has never been to VCH or had RSV. Once the NP came in she checked out, noticed a slight wheeze and automatically went to asthma after finding out there's a family history. My son is under 2. Asthma cant be diagnosed. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Dominic Dizon and the entire Dizon Pediatrics Urgent Care team. Dr. Dizon is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, compassionate, and attentive. He took the time to listen to our concerns, explain everything clearly, and provide the best care for my daughter. The staff at Dizon Pediatrics Urgent Care is equally wonderful—friendly, accommodating, and efficient. I highly recommend them!
