I would highly recommend you steer clear of this place. Great example of what is wrong with out healthcare system. Took my son in on a Sunday for a respiratory infection. They checked him out and prescribed antibiotics. And ordered some labs at Quest. Ask the doctor if they would call us with lab results, she said yes. So far so good. They billed the insurance $500 and we paid our $35 copay. Went to Quest on Monday for labs, waited about 3 days still no call with results, so I called urgent care back. Went in for possible inhaler and breathing treatment because can barely breathe. The p.a. instantly asks if il take a covid test me coughing out of my body trying to get oxygen no fever no signs of covid I decline. She walks out to talk to other staff leaving the door cracked allowing me and my mother to hear her talk about why am I not wearing a mask he must have covid I can't go in there and see him. We went there today (Maple and Herndon Ave location) and my son saw P.A. Marikat Smith, who gave us unacceptable customer service. On top of that she did not want to give my son a referral to see an orthopedic even though we both explained the need and urgency for a specialist. Ultimately, she did it, but it felt like we had to beg, and that is not acceptable. I felt she used our vulnerability to position herself in a higher level of power and to make us feel insignificant.
