Famous stomping ground for many people. Supposedly have great food and drinks, but it's always been too crowded and loud for me!
the best!! Love this place. Best burger you'll ever eat. Plus a good atmosphere. You can go and just hang out for ours and play some pool, darts, etc with your friends. I spent a ton of time there in college!
Great Memories Love this place. Hate that I don't get to go there as often. Wonderful burgers and beef jerky. Nice play to play pool, cheap drinks and great dominos!
A popular local bar The Dixie Chicken is very popular with locals. It has great live music and a sort of western feel. It is in a barn-type building, which is old, but well known. The down side is that it gets pretty smokey and loud, with a lot of people crammed into a small space.
A Must!!! I had heard about The Chicken for many years. The food is not bad but this is a great place to just hang out and drink beer, shoot pool and people watch!!!
Great Aggie tradition! A must for any visitor to the Bryan-College Station area, as this is a classic A&M spot to hang out, drink, play dominoes, play pool, whatever! During the day, it's pretty quiet and you can have lunch there, although the menu is pretty plain....but their food is really not what they are known for!!!
Texas Landmark The Dixie chicken is a texas a&m tradition in itself. Famous for their 1 dollar pearls all night, any night and the crowded atmosphere 7 nights a week. They are also a great place to eat, and during the day, a family atmosphere. A must for any college station resident looking to go out at night
