So sorry to hear that Dixie is closing its doors. It is by far our most favorite restaurant. The food has always been delicious and the service impeccable. Thank you Dixie for many wonderful meals.
It ok a good place take the family. They have a good setting.
My first visit was AWESOME! Jacob was a great waiter, my mom and I didn't have to wait long for our food, the service and atmosphere were great.. The only thing is that it was kind if chilly. Bring a jacket and try the hamburger steak supreme VERY DELICIOUS! �
Always love to drive to jonesboro from marion to eat here at dixie. I had the chicken fried steak light and potatoes and green beans with sweet tea. I love y'alls green beans the best i have ever eaten. The waiter was very good and friendly tonight. I will be back again and again
Your Chicken Fried Steak tonite was a wee bit on the small size. The chicken was about the size of maybe 4 quarters in a circular pattern. More crust than chicken. Waitress also a bit slow didn't pay close attention to our orders.
Today I took my grandma out to eat and she wanted to go to Dixie Cafe. I had no idea that it was her and my grandpas favorite place to go or that they were usuals. Whenever we were seated the waitress already knew my grandmother's order. My grandmother told the waitress that my grandpa had passed away a few weeks earlier. Needles to say they treated my grandma like a queen. I even teared up a little. I will forever be thankful for their loving and caring staff. Also, the food was wonderful. We ate every bite!
Let me just start off and say this, Dixie Cafe is my favorite restaurant I love eating there. But today I went to the bar to get this to-go and it was horrible. The waitress was nice and all but she dropped my food on the floor and just picked it up and put it in the bag and said "well it didn't bust so" and put it in the bag. It's true the container didn't open but still I would expect more than just pick it up and still put it in the bag.
