The owner of the animal hospital owns a puppy store which is supplied by puppy mills
I would never use a vet who makes money by selling puppies from mills. It’s despicable that she lies to the public when records are available for anyone to see that prove she gets her puppies from places citing with multiple violations of animal abuse. Vile.
I have a very elderly dog that I have brought to this hospital a few times, never truly happy with the service! Never thought to review them until this morning when I saw my cousin April make a post about how horrible the service was! RecommendedThe entire staff of Dix Hills Animal Hospital are extraordinarily kind, caring and compassionate. They treat me and my pets as if we are their most valuable clients. You won’t find a better vet on Long Island. Dr. Ali should get an award for Best Vet Ever. I wouldn’t take my pets anywhere else.
Without question this is one of the premier veterinary hospitals around. The compassion and expertise that they show each time we visit is beyond words. We have been going to this vet for many years with several of our animals and they have always been fantastic. Thank you DHAH; you guys are the best!

I am so thankful I brought my 5 year old bullmastiff into Dix Hills animal hospital when she suddenly became ill. I was sent home from my local Vet the day prior with the wrong diagnosis. I knew something was terribly wrong but didn’t know where to go next until a friend referred me here.
