This hospital always comes through for me with fast and reliable service and extra care. Downstate will always be our first choice when it comes too emergencies
Phenomenal institution. Went to the ER, pleasant staff, fantastic service, from the staff at the desk, to the nurses, to the doctors, all are clearly very competent. Even the nurse that was being trained. Kind folks. There were also other patients who clearly had behavioral issues and they were still patient while the patients in question were deliberately giving them a difficult time.
The staff in this hospital have no respect for patients The Doctors are very respectful but the nurses hate their jobs, they really don’t care for the patients. I waited 2 hours to get medications everyday while I was admitted. Never again will go to that hospital. Every nurse is nasty
