History Established in 1986. In 1986, Old Division Hardware was opened for business by: Glenn Lambert, and his daughter Laurie Gefre, in the heart of SE Portland. After Glenn's first wife passed away due to her health, he married Kathy Lambert in 1988. The name was changed to Division Hardware soon after. They have two sons, both of whom work in the store as well.
