I went here for the first time to get my natural hair washed, blow dried, and trimmed. The shampoo lady, Jamya, did a good job washing my hair and the steam treatment felt amazing. Also, I had a positive experience when I interacted with one of the owners. However, my negative experience began when Jamya started detangling my hair without conditioner. This has been my second time at this salon and it has been a lovely experience each visit! The first time, I had faux locs and I didn't want to take them out, they looked so good! This time I had knotless box braids and was running late to my appointment. The service I received was just as good, calming and consistent as the previous visit. I had a lot of personal things happening at the time and I can't say what it meant to me to be able to have a stress free appointment to handle one thing that I could control in life.
