I've had the privilege of working closely with the Divided Sky team, and their dedication is the real thing. They treat every guest and family with compassion, dignity and respect, and the people behind the program truly care. It's a warm, welcoming, non-clinical place to rebuild, grounded in the 12 Steps, mindfulness and community, and they've worked hard to keep it affordable with scholarships for those in need. If you or someone you love is ready for recovery, I'd recommend reaching out to them with confidence.
Someone I cared for dearly came here for 30 days for help and died by suicide a few weeks upon return. He was not well when he went. He was not well when he returned. He tried to get readmitted the day before he left us. If you have a loved one seeking help and they need something beyond a glorified retreat where there are no substances allowed, I beseech you to look elsewhere.
I would give everything I have to be able to go here. I’m leaving 5 stars because of all the wonderful things I have heard about it. As a Vermonter, I feel completely neglected the by the medical establishment in Vermont. I don’t want to die….
