Counseling and supervision with Kim is a warm and empathetic experience, while also being challenging in a way that inspires authentic growth and change. I recommend Kim to anyone wanting a clinician who is LGBTQIA+ affirming and neurodivergent affirming!
If you are looking to meet with a mental health professional that gently holds space for you while also holding you accountable, look no further. Kim does an exceptional job of meeting people where they are and empowering them to embrace their authentic selves. She is such a wonderful resource to our counseling community!!
If you truly want a unique experience within the therapy realm that does not fit the stereotypes of therapy, look no further. Kim is an excellent wealth of guidance in life, affirming and believing in everyone's ability to navigate difficulties, as well as how to look at obstacles from different perspectives. One size never fits all. Kim radiates this idea throughout her practice, giving each client a space to be their unique and autonomous self through the process of healing and navigation of life.
Kim is incredibly knowledgeable and skilled as a counselor and supervisor. She will encourage deep reflection, hold you accountable to your goals, and add in a sassy joke here and there. 10 stars!
Ridiculous experience here regarding scheduling conflicts/ cancellation fees with Justin Lockhart. Financial stresses & time management were two of my biggest worries discussed in therapy with Justin. His lack of availability/ schedule flexibility resulted in me sprinting through his door at the last second for 4 of our 6 sessions due to my varying work schedule.
