My old nail salon had closed so I called these guys for a quote on french manicure shellac. The price was 10% dearer than my old salon but i just wanted an appointment that very day. I asked twice if they charged for the renoval of the old shellac and the lady on phone said no charge. Both times.. The quality of the manicure seemed ok and I went to pay. Sure enough I was charged extra for the shellac removal...!! Did not matter what I said or how many witnesses I had, they wouldn't leave leave without paying extra... Then no... read more
I’ve gone here 3 times, because it’s near my house and generally have openings. But never again. They have been rude and forceful all 3 times. They are very rough with your nails and hard file your skin, leaving cuts on your skin. When I asked for them to use a softer file they scoffed at me. So rude and clearly don’t care about their clients.
Really terrible nail experience
In May 2025, I visited this salon for a builder gel infill. After removing the product, I developed a Pseudomonas infection beneath one of my fingernails. I gave the salon the benefit of the doubt and didn’t return until 28 June 2026, when my regular salon was closed. I only had shellac removed and reapplied to my toenails. Within two days, I developed severe pain, swelling and redness in my big toe. My GP diagnosed an abscess beneath the toenail and started me on antibiotics.
