I’m really not sure what the bad comments are about but let’s just say they got me alllll the way right!!! I booked sooooo last min and they took me in got me done in 2 hours and my braids are nice and neat … I will definitely be returning and I don’t regret tipping on spending my money period
The atmosphere can be overwhelming to say the least.
You definitely get what you paid for. My parts are crooked which normally wouldn't be an issue, but they're crooked at the front part of my head. It makes it extremely obvious. Also, one of the women put her finger in my eye while braiding. She didn't seem to even care that I was a human. She also ripped out some of my hair while braiding and was incredible rough with me for no reason. Lastly, the store is disgusting. There was trash all over the place.
My friend went there and paid $220 cold cash for some regular box braids took over 9 hours and this is the second time she done got her hair done by Mimi. Mimi was rushing so much to get done on another lady hair that took 3 people on one head that she had my friend braids slipping out literally a day or 2 later
