This was my first going here. I mentioned this to the girl taking my order. I ordered the lasagna, chicken parm, and half red sheet pizza. I didn't realize that you have to ask for cheese. I've never ordered a pizza in my life thay required me to mention the cheese. My mistake i guess but I mention it was my first time ordering. So annoying to get home with giant piece of bread woth just sauce on it.
Wanted to find a place close by that could provide high quality Italian meats for antipasto without having to drive to Gallucci's on the east side. Though of course D'Italia doesn't have as much selection, they have excellent quality prosciutto (De Parma), salami, pepperoni, mortadella, fontanelle cheese by Stella as well as turkey and other meats. Every time I come here its the best food I've ever had! Fairly priced, made with love, and the hot pepper sausage sandwich is the best in America!
