District Pharmacy is unlike any pharmacy that I have ever used. They actually care about their customers and treat them compassionately. When you call a human answers the phone, not AI so you can talk to them about your issues, needs and concerns. Every time I’ve used them it’s been for medication that I needed immediately and they make every effort to get it to you ASAP free delivery! Excellent customer service—very efficient people. They know that they are working for people's health.
I used this pharmacy 3-4 times. Only once or twice did things go smoothly. The other times, they told me they didn’t have a prescription for me or were out of stock but then found the prescription/medication after checking the computer. Why not thoroughly check before saying you don’t have something for me or in stock? The last time I went, they were out of stock on all three prescriptions I needed. While the staff is generally nice, I switched to a different pharmacy for more reliable service.
I cannot say enough good things about District. After our small pharmacy closed years ago, we suffered with CVS and it was such a nightmare. My doctor recommended District for a medication that would most likely not be covered by insurance and I was sold. A human being answers the phone after the push of one button!
