At DISTRICT BICYCLE CO., we live and breathe bikes. We are a family-owned bike shop in Kamloops with a passion for biking. Owners Jeff and Jessica Blanken are dedicated to providing the service you need to have the best biking experience, and will stop at nothing to ensure you feel welcome at our shop. We have a variety of bike types, products, apparel and service packages to keep you rolling.

Even through a minor scheduling issue these guys were great. Tore my fork down, cleaned it up and rebuilt it, and got me back on the bike same day. Thank you so much
Came here to to get a part of a broken electronic derailleur for my girlfriend‘s bike. We were on vacation and kind of in a hurry to get the bike going again. They offered us a used mechanical derailleur for a very reasonable price and even let us use one of their workstands to install everything. Curtis was there to help us with tips, tools and kindness. I was about to start a 3.5 week bikepacking trip, and my seat post clamp stripped the day before I was supposed to start (on a Sunday!). I should note here that it was a 3T seatpost internal clamp and is proprietary to this particular 3T bike model At 2 pm I called District in a bit of a panic. Curtis was super helpful. I dropped my bike off and within 1.5 hours I received a call back from Curtis. He tapped the housing on the clamp and put in a wider screw. Had my kids with me in this store. Yes, they are a handful like any young kids, but they did not touch the bikes. I was treated like I was burdening this store just being in there. Very poor customer service. Left feeling embarrassed. Would not buy anything there again. Would give it a zero star if I could.
Always top notch service from these guys! Not sure why I havent written a review until now (sorry guys) but ive had a great experience every time ive bought a bike from them and getting my bike serviced is always above and beyond my expectations. It always feels like I have a brand new bike again im not even sure how they do it. Highly recommend the whole team to anyone who likes to ride bikes or wants to start!
