As a white male, I am disturbed and disappointed in Tom Durden for not pressing charges against Gregory and Travis McMichael for the murder of Ahmaud Arbery, and the obvious white supremacy that has allowed for such a crime to happen. I, along with thousands of other Americans call for Gregory and Travis McMichael to be arrested for the murder of Ahmoud Arbery, a crime which the DA has so far left completely unprosecuted. DA Tom Durden must resign in the face of this gross miscarriage of justice.
I have attempted to email and call Tom Durden to demand that Gregory and Travis McMichael be charged and tried for the murder of Ahmaud Arbery and have been unable to reach Mr. Durden. In the name of justice, do your duty Mr. Durden.
How on earth can you stand behind a senseless murder of an unarmed individual being trapped front and back, gunned down like a wild animal, and sleep at night? Quit standing behind weak excuses and do the right thing. Do your job and lock these murderers up now or step down and let someone who will do the job step in.
