I'm a member of the Arcadian Chorale in Matawan, New Jersey under the direction of Marina Alexander. As a member it has been a pleasure to have been part of Jonathan Griffin's concerts such as: Mozart's Requiem, Karl Jenkins Requiem & we will again be joining on Sunday, May 28,2017 DCINY for the Brahms Requiem. I'm looking forward once again to be part of this concert as an Arcadian & Mr. Griffin's teachings & leadership.
Collecting thoughts what this is about: Firstly, singing, the thing we all love to do and to do fine. Secondly, singing in Carnegie Hall, a thing one as an ordinary choir singer does once in a lifetime. Thirdly, singing under an excellent conductor from whom to learn and to an excellent composer who may even be there in person to listen. Being part of the Messiah Refreshed 2016 performance was an inspiring and moving experience...beyond any dream I might have had. The level of organization was impressive as well. Thank you for this outstanding opportunity.
