I am unhappy with the provider at this office, *************************. I went to her office to inquire about adding composite on my 2 front teeth. She talked me into braces. I am angry with her and with myself, for trusting her. Looking straight on, my teeth look the same now as they did before the brace. I did not need braces!! Unfortunately she messed up the side teeth and now there are gaps that look weird. I followed up and tried to resolve this with her in person. NEW ***************************** put braces on me in 2019. My teeth now look significantly worse after she got her hands on me. ****** talked me into braces that I did not seek, need, or want. I did not make my initial appointment with her for braces. I wanted to add a little composite to my front 2 teeth, and that was it.She was delighted in taking my $6000 (not covered under insurance) after convincing me that I needed braces. My experience with Distinctive Smiles of Dublin was poor communication. I had a small filling in my front tooth that had chipped. I explained that my previous dentist had used composite to brighten both front teeth while doing the filling. Because I have composite on the front teeth they do not whiten so Distinctive suggested that I whiten with **** Whitening at $500+ to get the the other teeth as white as I wanted then they would composite the two front teeth to match. My Experience w/ Dr. ******: I really want to write a good review but my experience has been miserable unfortunately, which is the last thing I wanted. First, I went in and was given unnecessary recommendations for a periodontal cleaning when I had only 2-3s and I think 1-2 were 4's. I have someone close to me who is a dental hygienist and she told me that a lot of offices have questionable ethics, where dental hygienists are expected to sell services (but keep it hush hush). I had work done on three teeth here right before thanksgiving. All they said was that the work was what I needed done on those teeth. In Febuary one of them was causing large amounts of pain and ended up needing a root canal. They offered neither symphtaty or appology, just saying they "did the most conservative treatment." They didn't tell me this ahead of time nor did I have an option of what to have done (other than having just those three teeth done or more teeth done at the same time).
