In January, 2015, we expanded to Mesa. We love bringing the Aveda ideals to the Phoenix area as we continue to expand!

I'm sharing this review not to criticize, but to offer constructive feedback in hopes that it helps improve their service for future customers. I scheduled an appointment over the phone for my girlfriend to get a balayage. At the time of booking, I was quoted a price of approximately $250. However, when she arrived, she liked to do overlay instead. They then quoted a new price of around $300. By the end of the appointment, the final bill came to over $400 — just for the overlay. I’ve been going to Distinctive Salons for over 10 years, and the service has always been incredible. David has been doing my hair for the past few years, and he consistently goes above and beyond. Ashley, the owner, is absolutely amazing—she’s incredibly responsive and ensures everything runs smoothly. Haven and the entire team is warm, welcoming, and always helpful. I highly recommend Distinctive Salons to anyone looking for an exceptional salon experience!
I love everything about Distinctive Salon and am grateful I discovered this welcoming place 2 years ago. Best of all is the hair stylist, Gibby, who has washed and styled my hair every week for the last couple years. She is extremely professional, competent, dependable and a joy to do business with. I look forward to seeing her every week and know my hair will look shiny, full of body, and beautiful. I highly recommend this salon above all others especially in the northeast Mesa area.
Love this salon! Knowledgable, efficient, and professional. Brittany is fabulous and I let her really take the reins with my hair. She is so talented and easy to talk to. She obviously loves her craft and does a wonderful job on my hair.
I have been going here for 14 years and have nothing but praise. Ashley is magically and my hair health is ALWAYS a priority. Everyone in the salon is friendly and their expertise is remarkable
