In January, 2015, we expanded to Mesa. We love bringing the Aveda ideals to the Phoenix area as we continue to expand!

I have been going here for 14 years and have nothing but praise. Ashley is magically and my hair health is ALWAYS a priority. Everyone in the salon is friendly and their expertise is remarkable
I’ve been going to Distinctive Salons for over 10 years, and the service has always been incredible. David has been doing my hair for the past few years, and he consistently goes above and beyond. Ashley, the owner, is absolutely amazing—she’s incredibly responsive and ensures everything runs smoothly. Haven and the entire team is warm, welcoming, and always helpful. I highly recommend Distinctive Salons to anyone looking for an exceptional salon experience!
I love everything about Distinctive Salon and am grateful I discovered this welcoming place 2 years ago. Best of all is the hair stylist, Gibby, who has washed and styled my hair every week for the last couple years. She is extremely professional, competent, dependable and a joy to do business with. I look forward to seeing her every week and know my hair will look shiny, full of body, and beautiful. I highly recommend this salon above all others especially in the northeast Mesa area.
Best experience EVER!! David was amazing. He listened. He talked about recommendations based on my hair, my face and body type. I feel completely transformed. Love the atmosphere in the salon as well. Presley at the front desk was sweet and helpful as well.
Catalina is so meticulous! I didn’t realize that the color I was getting for years before this was poorly done. Catalina pays very close attention to my needs and tries to abide by them but is also able to make decisions about what she thinks is best if I ask. She’s also an authentic person who’s just easy to be around, which is important when you sit with stylists for so long! 10/10
