Disney Paradise Pier was first built as the Emerald Hotel, then sold and became the Pan Pacific Hotel. When Disney changed their parking lot to become Disney California Adventure theme park they bought it because it was right across the street. You can get a view room and watch the World of Color right from your room, very cool! I actually prefer this hotel to the other Disneyland hotels, and it is the least expensive.

Disney's huggable friends provide a festive atmosphere at this huge high-rise hotel. – The Scene The name is more exciting than the actual hotel, but this high rise does offer a private entrance to California Adventure and Disneyland. love it – Paradise Pier was great. I had a room the overlooked California Adventures. Great hotel to be so little. the roof top pool was o.k. Not much too do but splash around, but you have an exclusive entrance into California Adventures.
