The recent review that Harisa posted is very similar to to my experiences. I had been seeing Faduma Haji Ali (who is wonderful, caring, and excellent in her practice) for years. It seems that through the acquisition of ABHC by DiscoveryMD, Mrs. Haji Ali had been from what I assume removed from her role in the offices. I get it, things happen. I’ve never experienced what I experienced at ABHC Kent. I was seeing Faduma for more than a year. She was such a great provider who was taking my issues seriously. She was the one who filled out my FMLA paperwork back in October last year (2022). I received a FMLA paperwork from my employer in March 2023 to send it to my provider to fill it out (it needs to be done every 6 months), faxed the paperwork to ABHC Kent on March 21st asking them to get complete and fax it to the fax number provided, with a long message explaining ... read more
If you are in need this place will not help you. The rules don't cater to people you have serious mental issues. This place puts policy over people
I went here for anxiety and stress which was causing my appetite to decline. I was prescribed a high dose of something that all of reddit said had severe appetite loss which mine was getting worse. When I called go get off of this which can only be reduced by 10 MG every 2 weeks they told me I would have to wait for a appointment and could not do anything with out a appointment. Follow up dr. Was appalled at my high dose and said I never should of been on that.
Wouldn't recommend if you are a minority. Stick to a minority therapist or else you will get skewed assessment. They are racist.
