Friendly staff, very spacious rooms, a good breakfast selection, and a convenient location with plenty of food options nearby. There is nothing negative to say about Discovery Lodge. Our entire family felt it was an excellent choice. The stay exceeded our expectations, and we were very satisfied with the overall experience. We would definitely consider staying here again.
Misleading photos of property and rooms. We were shocked on how dated and small property was compared to what website gave impression of. Room was ok but the photos of the views compared to reality is humorous.
I stayed twice last year and will again next week. It's a comfy, nice place to stay and not super expensive.
Loved the balcony. We did lose power for a bit while we were there, which was odd because literally everything around it had power and the power map in the city didn't show any outages, they got it back on after a bit though. When we got up one morning there were 12 baby elk and their moms on the lawn, so that was pretty amazing. The pond was cute with geese, ducks and baby ducklings.
