I had a very distressing and traumatizing experience at 2551 Ivy Drive, managed by Discovery Investments. There were ongoing noise issues in the building, including loud disturbances from the upstairs unit early in the morning. I raised concerns and was told to provide recordings as proof. The building was poorly maintained and had ongoing pest issues, break ins during my tenancy. We had a terrible experience with this property management company. They were incredibly slow to respond to all our requests. But the worst part was that they represent owners who knowingly have mold in their homes and rent them at a premium price without taking any steps to ensure complete remediation. My husband and I rented a home in Montclair with our two dogs for a couple of weeks before my dogs and I became very ill. We required multiple rounds of treatment and X-Rays. They have children representing this company. Some young guy may call you if you’re late for rent, and talk to you like you’re a child. Been very unimpressed by this management company.
