We had a terrible experience with this property management company. They were incredibly slow to respond to all our requests. But the worst part was that they represent owners who knowingly have mold in their homes and rent them at a premium price without taking any steps to ensure complete remediation. My husband and I rented a home in Montclair with our two dogs for a couple of weeks before my dogs and I became very ill. We required multiple rounds of treatment and X-Rays. My experience has been positive. The owner and the staff have been taking care of my property on timely manner, professional, and I am grateful that I found Discovery Investments when I needed help.
They have children representing this company. Some young guy may call you if you’re late for rent, and talk to you like you’re a child. Been very unimpressed by this management company.
If they don’t return your phone calls after 5 days just to ask about a listing, how do you think they would handle any issues that might come up in your rental unit?? AVOID RENTING FROM THESE KNUCKLE HEADS
I have been a tenant for 14 months in one of their at least 50 properties. The owners act like they are property managers so they avoid any responsibility for building maintenance. They have accused me of plugging the bathtub drain after I lived there 3 months. At least I was able to convince the owner that I have really short hair and use a net on the bathtub drain to catch hair, no way in 3 months could I clog the drain.
