We had so much fun, my husband & I went with both of our daughters we all enjoyed both concerts.
I live in Houston. I think Discovery Green is awesome...I remember when it was just ugly above-ground parking, and now it's a beautiful park. Came last night for free ZZ Top concert during Super Bowl LI, Discovery Green was closed and only letting in VIP staff or special people who live downtown. I live almost downtown! But wasn't allowed in. I rarely come for events but made an extra effort this time! So much for Houston residents getting access to anything. It's a happenin' place, 4-5 blocks from the rail, and most events are free.
Love discovery green. Wonderful place to spend time with friends and family. Love the atmosphere and artsy ambiance!
Love this park! Great event variety and we love the general things to do in the park (kayaking, splash pad and play area). Haven't eaten here but heard food can be pricey and parking can also be pricey depending on the evens at George R Brown or Minute Maid

This is a fun space in the heart of the city where people can relax, unwind and hang out. Playgrounds, open fields, restrooms & classes all are available here. The temporary slaying rink was fun too!
